Our Goal
Objectives:
New Entrepreneurs Icon Foundation is a non profit organization that focuses on creating and developing sustainable entrepreneurs via strategic developmental programs. We design and cater our programs with the entrepreneur in mind, ensuring them to achieve their goals. Reading about exciting things happening in the sharing arena can be inspiring, but the real fun is getting out and connecting with people in-person. Time and time again, friends of entrepreneur community have expressed an interest in hosting and attending events, so we decided to ask community leaders to just SHARE their achievements here! SHARING IS CARING!
1.To improve the condition of entrepreneurs through access to improved health and education services
2. To reduce the poverty through access to resources and opportunities.
3. To enhance development process through developing the capacity of entrepreneurs and establishing public private partnerships.
4. To improve the access to basic rights through advocacy, networking and lobbying.
5. To support and strengthen the vulnerable segments of the society including women, minorities, disables and children.
6. To respond to any type of emergencies in any part of country through life saving and health facilities.
Geographical Area
Icon Pr & communication started its operation from Karachi and lot of successful events and welfare programmes has extended its area of operations to other parts of Pakistan.
The Network has volunteer member’s network from all parts of Pakistan. Currently network has more than 200 volunteer members from different provinces of Pakistan.
Board of Directors
Icon Network board comprise of 7 members who govern and formulate its policies and oversee implementation of the programs.
The members of Board of Director meet every three months to discuss progress made during a quarter and develop strategies for the smooth runing of Organization. The Board of Directors elects the Office bearers including Chairperson, General Secretary, Finance Secretary and Executive Director, who are responsible for overall Management and activities of the organization and remains in regular contacts with Board of Directors.
After every 2 years, the organization conducts election within the members for selection of office bearers.

UZMA SABIR
Miss Uzma Sabir has more than 8 years of extensive experience in implementation of Development, Emergency and Advocacy based projects. She is management professional and has wide exposure and experience of working with national and international advertisement sector and public relation Organizations.
She is running Icon PR Communication, She is Editor Standards Gazette International, She is also leading a PR company and contacts with Print and electronic media.
Icon Strategy to Execute
Icon is governed by Board of Directors; who formulate its policies and implementation of the programs. The members of Board of Director meet every three months to discuss issues and progress made during a quarter. The Board of Directors appoints the Office bearers and General Secretary and Executive Director is fully responsible for overall Management and activities of the organization and remains in regular contacts with Board of Directors.
Administratively, Icon is divided into Program, Admin/ Finance, Human Resource, Monitoring and Evaluation and Fund raising committees.
The committee is headed by a respective Member and all Members are answerable to the CEO for progress of their respective committee. The CEO is responsible to present the quarter progress reports to the Board
The Incharge of each section is responsible for his or her respective programs. Proper and timely implementation of the program/project is the responsibility of the concerned Incharge with the consultation of the CEO. The Head Office regularly monitors all the activities of the programs including progress review meetings, field visits and progress reports. Other activities of the Head Office are liaison with the donor organizations, networking with government departments, CSOs, CBOs, fund raising and preparation of various documents.
Icon conducts monthly staff meetings to monitor progress. It also conducts external evaluation to determine the progress made, identify gaps and explores opportunities for enhancing performance. The organization has double entry accounting system and financial policy. Organization has internal mechanism control system, recruitment and procurement policies. All the organizational matters are guided by the Policy Manual which is revised time to time by Board and incorporate further improvements with the help of Icon professional team and other network members. Regular internal audits of accounts are conducted by Board and External Auditor appointed by CEO, and also annual audits of accounts are conducted by the Charted Accountant and firms.

Icon of the Nation Awards
Pakistani Women Entrepreneurs Amidst gender disparity, the women are re-defining Pakistan’s entrepreneurial landscape ever underestimate the power of a woman because someone who after God has the capability to bring a life on Earth definitely has the strength to change destiny. Delicate and compassionate, a woman surely is but that should never be mistaken as weakness or incapability. The first and foremost version of her that is respected and recognized is of a mother, which truly deserves all the appreciation in the world. However they are capable of being diverse too. Initially, the best professions considered for women were teaching or medicine but times have changed.
Women all around the world are playing their part not only as the work force needed to uplift the economic position of a country but nurturing of Nations also We must be grateful to them for their sincerity and commitment. Here in our country after the 16 years of education, without further plans for education or careers, it is a must for girls to get married. It is in our opinion a very sacred bond, a bond which provides security, strength and completion to not only the individuals getting married but to the society as a whole. But seeing it as a full stop to both the prospects of further studies and careers is not justified in any way. Pakistani women have certainly walked out of this framework of life and excelled in many fields like journalism, philanthropy, IT world, engineering, politics, business, film, media, and govt. e.t.c.
They have proved themselves to be both great mothers and well-reputed, significant citizens. Now the time come to honor them at National level and to highlight the achievements and contribution for Pakistani entrepreneur as Women in Business and Technology and All fields. Here are some ladies, in no particular order but equally outstanding in their contributions.
The extensive the fact that women are indeed capable of working and excelling beyond all confinements and expectations. Mentioned above are just of the amazing women when there are so many more that ought to be discussed and praised for their contributions. A hearty round of applause from our side to all these great Pakistani women, they have made us proud indeed!

- On the occasion of Pakistan Day Icon Network starts its activities 23rd March 2016, with the event 1st Icon of the Nation Awards Icon with the collaboration of The Icon PR & Communication and Standards Gazette International event was organized at Marriot Hotel Karachi the program was organized for the entrepreneur Pakistani Dignitaries/Film/Media/TV/ Children, Women, Teachers, Students, Parents, and NGOs, Social Activists and Consumer Rights activists and citizens.
- As a citizen of Pakistan and all sectors of walk of life to join hands with Icon and participated the event it was look like a national event.
The Organizing committees organize well and organization was well prepare to host their National heroes also the public leader in its field and it was leadership in its sights, the event was helped to maximize PR, communication and marketing efforts nominations was well chosen by Award Committee of experts/Jury. Participant’s speech and their interest show that in next this event must have National status and will promote the National cause.
- The participant Dignitaries includes Children, Women, Teachers, Students, Parents, Politician, Businessmen, TV artist, Film Artist, TV anchors, NGOs, Social Activists and Consumer Rights activists and citizens. As a conscientious citizen of Pakistan was joining hands under one roof, it was rear to see all at one event.
